Nick Castellano Motorcycle Accident Recovery
Donation protected
On May 20, 2020 Nick Castellano was going about his day like he did any other, enjoying the beautiful spring weather riding his Harley Davidson on his way to work when he was struck by two vehicles on Broadway in Massapequa and critically injured. Nick was airlifted to Nassau University Medical Center (NUMC). Nick sustained multiple internal injuries and broken bones. He was put into an induced coma, has undergone multiple surgeries, and is awaiting additional surgeries within the next few days. Nick has a long road to recovery ahead as the extent of his injuries are still unknown. His family is impatiently waiting at home for any news as they are unable to see him or be at his bedside.
For those of you who know Nick, the Massapequa Chief Alumni with a hockey stick always in hand and his comical humor through vlogging, we can all agree that he can light up a room when he walks in smiling. Nick is one of the hardest working, most helpful individuals. He is the first person to lend a hand to help and the last person to ask for help. In the midst of the current COVID-19 pandemic and having to postpone his wedding, this is now another hardship for his family and fiancé, Angelica, to endure. The love Angelica has for Nick shines bright, her rock. This very unfortunate situation has been difficult on Angelica and the Castellano family. We know these are tough times for all, but in tough times we find great people and every dollar counts! So we ask our closest friends, families, and the strong Massapequa community we are known to be to come together and help raise any generous donation we can to help cover extensive medical bills, the loss of time at work, and help support every day expenses to Angelica and the Castellano Family.
Thank you in advance for opening your hearts and all the continued prayers. The Castellano Family cannot thank everyone enough for their prayers, donations, and kind words and gestures during this difficult time. Please continue to keep Nick in your thoughts and prayers. #StelStrong
