Hi everyone, Im a friend of Nick Cabrera and the rest of his family and we are making this because we just found out that the insurance of the hit and run driver is only covering $10,000 of what is sure to be a 2 million dollar + bill. Nicks health insurance through his job is not going to even cover half of his medical bills.

So on June 21st of 2025 Nick was riding his motorcycle northbound on airport rd, and when crossing through highway 92 intersection a white jeep turned in front of him and they hit head on. The driver of the jeep sped off leaving Nick about 30 yard from the intersection with just enough adrenaline left to call 911 for himself as a witness called his dad for him. When arriving at the emergency room after saving him from lose of blood they discovered he broke every bone in his right leg with multiple compound fractures. His arm has a broken ulna, dislocated wrist, and a dislocated elbow. Nick is still fighting to save his leg as I type this.

Nick was going the speed limit and an officer confirmed he was not in the wrong what so ever, however the person who hit Nick is walking around a free man right now with not even a question asked to him by a police officer.

Where Nick was hit is PCSO and or FHP jurisdiction and a LPD officer was the one to arrive and take statements. From our knowledge the case has not been turned over to to PCSO or FHP and LPD has no open investigation.

Morgan and Morgan tried to take his case and called back in 3 days to say there was no case to take because the driver was unknown.

We are at a dead-end as far as we know the police dont have and are not going to open an investigation. Nick has been in the hospital since 8pm June 21st and no one knows how much longer he will be here. In reality Nicks insurance is expected to cover 1/3 putting Nick in a very tough spot even when he recovers.
