I’m creating this go fund me on behalf of my mom and my 8 other siblings that still live at home.
My family’s house caught fire on Wednesday, September 14th, while they were at home eating supper. They all made it out safely, but many of their family pets weren’t so fortunate. The house was severely damaged with at least 2/3 up in flames, only for it to reignite during the night and burn the rest to the ground. Insurance has placed them in a motel close to their home through Sunday the 18th, after that is still to be determined. They left that night with basically the clothes on their backs. The main thing that would help them recover at this time is the money to buy the things that are the most urgent. Right now they are in the process of completely starting over, and with a large family it’s even more expensive. They’re going to need birth certificates, S.S. cards, new bank and health insurance cards, underwear, toiletries, and so many more things just as a start. Gas alone to run these errands will feel like a small fortune. If you are able to give anything, no matter how small, they will be one step towards recovering from this tragedy, and you will be blessing them with one less thing to worry over.
Later on today I will be creating an Amazon gift registry for people to purchase items if they wish to meet specific needs.
