Hello! I’m a good friend of the family and hoping to raise funds for expenses related to a horrifying incident that happened around 2:20 am on 2/9/25.

During the horrible ice storm, a truck with an attached plow came flying into Palm City Park, hitting a boulder and then a family car pushing it into their home, destroying it and pushing it off the foundation by a foot, and then left the scene of the accident. While the family is still trying to figure out who this monster is, they are left in shock and displaced with two children and a baby on the way and now down a vehicle. All proceeds go to the family to use however they see fit to get back on their feet and back into a home. They are the SWEETEST people and would do anything for anyone, they need all the help they can get right now, even just a share. Kayla operates childcare in their home, and her brother whose car was destroyed is also used to make income. Let’s pull this off as a community and help this amazing family.

UPDATE: The man responsible has turned himself in but now his insurance company is giving the family a hard time on coverage and compensation. The home has been stabilized and the car was removed but they are still unable to be home until the gas, electric and sewage lines can be checked. Unexpected expenses are still piling up.
