This is my wife Nicholle. She is my world and I am desperate to save her.
We met in 2010; it was love at first sight. She was gorgeous, outgoing and fun. She lit up the room with her warm smile and huge heart. After several years of dating we were married in 2014 and a few years later we added our beautiful daughter Winter and son Braxton to the family. To know Nicholle is to love her. To put it simply, she really is THAT incredible.
Tragically on November 6th 2019 Nicholle was diagnosed with stage three colon cancer- our worst nightmare became reality. She completed chemotherapy and after valiantly fighting cancer for 6 months she was in full remission. However, only 3 months later, we learned that the cancer had rapidly spread to her lungs and progressed to stage four. Since this took place Nicholle has been in the battle for her life. She fights for the mere privilege to do what those blessed with health do every day. She fights for the right to be a mother, wife, daughter and a cherished friend.
Since Nicholle was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer (Metastatic Colon Cancer with Lymphogenic spread to the lungs) she is scheduled to start chemotherapy immediately, but the oncologists have already warned that chemotherapy will not be enough. Additional immunotherapies and integrative therapies should give Nicholle a fighting chance but our health insurance will not cover anything outside of traditional chemotherapy.
I want to sell our home to pay for the therapy our insurance will not cover, but Nicholle doesn’t want that. Even in the midst of the fight for her life Nicholle is consumed with the desire to keep our precious babies safe. She needs to know that no matter what happens to her, her children will have a home.
I will do whatever it takes to pay for her therapy but with your help we can keep our kids and Nicholle where they feel comfortable and safe.
We never expected this nightmare to occur, but we have been humbled by the support we have received from those we’ve met in Idaho- strangers at first that quickly became our friends and family. We have done all we can do on our own and are asking for financial help and your prayers.
I know no one more deserving of a miracle than my sweet Nicholle. Please help us save her.
And to the light of our lives Nicholle… We love you. We need you, and we will never stop fighting for you. Love, Josh, Winter and Braxton.
