Nichole Warner

I worked with Nichole for the past 8 yrs in the ID clinic and was thankful to call her my friend. On Thursday, December 15th Nichole was on her way home from work when she was involved in a tragic car accident and passed away. She was not just our co-worker, she was a friend, a member of our close-knit work family, the one whose contagious laugh you could hear and recognize in an instant. Nichole was a nurse who spent time working in the Neuroscience unit at UW and then spent the past 8 yrs in the ID clinic, also at UW. She was currently in school to be a Nurse Practitioner, which she no doubt would have been amazing at. She was loved by her patients as well as the doctors and other nurses she has worked with over the years. Nichole left her mark on this world but still had so much more to do in life. Her laughter, quick wit and amazing sarcastic humor will be missed by all of us.

The love of Nichole's life was Andrew. They recently celebrated 11 years together and looked forward to a lifetime with each other. They had 2 gorgeous dogs that she adored, who will miss her as much as the rest of us do. I know Nichole also had an amazing group of friends from childhood and college. She lived life to the fullest and made the most of every day. I know they have more stories than anyone can even imagine.

We hope to raise money to help Andrew and her mom, Diane Warner. They can use it to help with any bills, give them the ability to take time away from work that is needed to grieve or use it towards getting something in memory of Nichole.
