"I just want to help connect people." If you know Nick, you know that's what he's all about.

What you may not know, is that a few months ago, he was laid off from his job (no fault of his own). Ever diligent and determined, he has been looking hard for a new job. But then, he was hospitalized in NJ for two weeks for gastrointestinal issues. It turned out that his appendix was the cause of all the gastro issues.

You probably also know he survived a liver transplant two years ago. As you might guess, everything medical is riskier when you're a transplant recipient.

So, after three weeks, and two different hospital stays, days and days of numerous medical teams weighing the risks and deliberating, he had a successful appendectomy today, thanks to UPenn Medicine in Philadelphia, PA!

However, recovery will be tougher than the average person, as everything is more complicated when you are a transplant recipient. Along with his recovery, the holidays are upon us, which means the job search will be slow.
