Hello, my name is Linda,

I am here on behalf of Nicholas Singsan-Wood's husband, Ken (Withawat Singsan-Wood). Nick passed away December 18, 2022. Ken requested a memorial fund to specifically honor Nick's passion and dedication to the LGBT community.

Nick served the Los Angeles LGBT Center for 13 years as an LVN case manager and was the first nurse to work on our Transgender Health Program. Nick was a bright light within Health Services, and he consistently shared that working with our community and providing compassionate, empathic nursing care motivated him to come to work each day. Nick’s outgoing demeanor and penchant for conversation made him beloved by his patients, care team, and coworkers. I was his friend and coworker for 13 years, and I witnessed his love and passion of working to support the LGBT community.

We send deepest condolences to Nick’s beloved husband, Ken, and the rest of his family. Two years into his tenure at the Center, Nick married his husband, who he once referred to as a “miracle.” In one of his posts from their many globe-trotting adventures, Nick said they were “two butterflies flying tandem against the winds of time.”

Help us honor Nick with this memorial, with funds directed to his surviving husband.
