Nicholas Sanchez was outgoing and warm-hearted. At only 19 years of age he’d already shown himself to be a strong leader, treating everyone with kindness and respect. His family, friends, fellow classmates, New Earth staff and teachers truly loved him. 

Nicholas passed away in jail yesterday – January 2nd, 2019. He was in the process of fighting the case he was imprisoned for and hadn’t yet had his trial. 


Nicholas graduated Valedictorian of New Earth's June 2017 high school class. He leaves behind a one year-old daughter named Ja’Sani, his mother Yolanda, and a 16 year old brother. His brother, Justin, is currently enrolled in New Earth's programs.

We are trying to help the family as much as possible with the sudden expense of the funeral. All of us at New Earth are here in support of Yolanda, baby Ja’Sani and all of Nicholas’ family and friends. Please help us in raising funds to honor his memory.
