A Mother's Second Plea -Nick Still Needs Our Help!
Donation protected

I am Marsha Newton, and I am asking you to help me support my son, Nicholas, to receive his dialysis treatments and take care of his daughter.
In late February, as we prepared the homegoing celebration for Nick's dad, we reached out to you for support. And you responded! Thank you to all who have already contributed towards Nicholas's insurance deductible for his dialysis treatments.
Unfortunately, Nick continues to accumulate debt from medical bills, the cost of everyday living on a teacher's salary in the Dallas Ft. Worth area and to top it off, he is trying to support his 11 year old daughter who is a champion volleyball player on the 11's Mad Frog Volleyball team which travels the country to compete in national competions.
Of course, she wants her dad with her at every game, but the costs of traveling across the country and attending competitions are enormous. Three days a week he has to go in for 3 1/2 hour dialysis treatments either before daybreak then go directly to school to teach, or teaching a full day, then going directly to have his dialysis treatment after work.
Some days, he has to miss work due to illness caused by his dialysis treatments. He has used up his sick leave days... so missing work also means missing pay. He's fallen behind financially.
I hope you can find it in your heart to help this dad support his daughter's dreams and continue to be able to pay his medical bills, rent, car note, and other expenses such as driving her over an hour one way, several days per week just for volleyball practice. The money for gas and food alone is hard to come by.
We have reached 50% of our goal. If you share our story with family, friends and coworkers, we will reach our goal of of $8,000. Any help you can give is greatly appreciated.
