Hi, my name is Madison and this fundraiser is to raise money for a scholarship in honor of my younger brother, Nick, who passed away in March 2021.
Nick was 23 years old when he passed away, leaving behind the memory of a fun, quirky, creative young man. He loved music in all forms and carried his trombone and harmonica with him everywhere he went. Any chance he got, he was playing music.
He was also a tradesman, spending hundreds of hours learning to Blacksmith at the Abbey of Regina Laudis in Bethlehem, CT. He always dreamed of having his own forge where he could experiment and refine his skills. Fortunately, his iron works of art will stand for years to remind us of his creative spirit.
At just 23 years old, Nick’s life was cut short and many of his dreams were yet to be realized.

This scholarship is for Watertown High School students that plan to pursue an education in the Music and Theater Arts, as well as Blacksmithing apprentices at the Abbey of Regina Laudis that plan to continue their education in the trade.
Donations of any amount are welcomed and appreciated, and if you can, please consider sharing this fundraiser, as well.
