Another Angel lost his battle against his demons. My precious boy was overcome with his dark thoughts and was too weak to battle the boredom of the COVID-19 quarantine. We both lost our lives on 6/30. Drugs murdered my son that day and my life went with him.
Nick was so intelligent and mentally strong. He fought a horrendous battle against his enemy for a few years but fell prey to temptations & whispers as the idle time pulled him down like quicksand. He was the sweetest, kindest young man of only 27 years. His heart was enormous and was loved by many. It is the most excruciating pain to have lost him as many mothers who have lost their child would agree. Too many mothers have been losing their beloved children in record numbers to the vicious and cruel monsters called drugs!! This is madness!! It is no wonder why we see so many bitter, sad expressions on the faces of people we pass each day. More than likely, they too are suffering the same kind of loss such as losing a child.
I hesitated as long as I could before reaching out for help with funeral costs, etc.. I was hoping for a miracle but I feel those are very few and far between anymore. I work in the industry field so I haven’t been able to work in months so I just have to humble myself and pray there is some ease out there for this burden. Any help is much appreciated but I truly understand if not. We are all going through lean times and I know that somehow God will bring me through this. The pain of losing my baby boy is entirely a different story.
