My Dearest Brothers, Relatives, and Friends,

It is with a heavy heart and profound sorrow that I share the devastating news of the passing of our beloved Mr. Nicholas Bayanaye on July 12, 2025. Despite the tireless efforts of the medical team in the intensive care unit, Nicholas was called home to the Lord following a tragic drowning accident in a swimming pool on Sunday, July 6, 2025.

Nicholas was a cherished member of our community, a beacon of light who brought warmth and kindness to everyone he met. Having immigrated from Africa to the United States in 2024, he poured his heart into his work and devoted himself wholeheartedly to God’s service within our church here in San Antonio. His faith, dedication, and love for others touched countless lives, leaving a legacy that will forever remain in our hearts.

In this time of immense grief, we find solace in the words, “The Lord has given, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.” Let us hold fast to the memories of Nicholas’s unwavering spirit and the love he shared so generously. May we come together to support one another, lifting up his family and all who mourn in prayer and comfort.

Kwa masikitiko Makubwa napenda kuwatangazia ndugu, jamaa na marafiki kuwa tumempoteza mpendwa wetu Bw. Nicholas Bayanaye hapo jana tarehe 12th, july 2025 akiwa akipatiwa matibabu katika chumba cha watu mahututi (ICU) baada ya kupata ajali ya kuzama katika bwawa la kuogelea (swimming pool) siku ya tarehe jumapili 6 july 2025 Jambo lilipelekea umauti wake.

Nicholas ni mwenzetu katika jumuiya yetu na alikuja kutoka Africa na kuhamia katika inchi ya Marekani mnamo mwaka wa 2024, alikuwa akijishughulisha na kazi zake na kazi masuala ya Mungu (Kikanisa) katika kipindi chote cha uhai wake hapa San Antonio.
