Last week Hi’ilei lost the love of her life. After experiencing an unthinkable loss, she and her son are picking up the pieces. This strong woman who has donated her life to helping others as a mental health counselor needs our help now. I can’t imagine the pain of losing a spouse unexpectably and feeling so lost and confused. I wanted to find a way for us to help give back as she tries to find a new way to live and works on mending her heart. I have attached a message from Hi’ilei following the date she lost part of her heart:
“Yesterday at 1:36PM the world lost one of the best men it had. God needed you home my love, but you left me with some of the best parts of you. Your son and I will love and honor you all the days of our lives. You changed me in all the good ways. You helped me discover strength and beauty in this world that I would otherwise have lost. There are no words to describe the love I have/feel for you or the pain I feel now that you’re gone. A hui hou for now my love. Wait for me until we are reunited in our Lord’s embrace. Nicholas Battistini the best man you’ll even know 02.01.89 - 06.07.18” -Hi’ilei Battistini
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
