Nichelle's Final Expenses

Hi! I am Melissa Rouse- Salas. My best friend from the time I was 15 was Nichelle Nicole Laford - Tansey. Also known as Nikki.

Nichelle loved a social crowd. Often she was seen at Rene's bar in Westland with her, often titled by her as her family. She could be found making soup or chili. The offer would be open to anyone who was hungry. When the step-mom to her two daughters, Savannah and Cheyenne, died, she went on a fundraising mission.

When my mother died , she called me asking me my needs. Even when her own father passed just weeks later , she would ask me how I was.

Patrick is her surviving better half. Recently Pat was handed a bad deal by his boss and left to pick up the pieces. Anyone who knows Pat knows he will do anything for anyone. He loved his wife so passionately that he could be found doing anything to make her smile, even at her worst.

I know she was demanding. The mental illness that gripped her often left her very much misunderstood. But when she showed you her soft side, there was nothing but love.

She saved me years ago from making a choice that would have robbed me of my life. I will always love and remember her as the woman who would say ' I am pretty . " and constantly remind you that even the darkest clouds had sunshine.

Any funds will be immediately given to Patrick to cover any end-of-life expenses.

I believe Nichelle would have done this for everyone she loved.
