Hi! I am Nioka Drummond,

I am from the community of Slipe, St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, and I have started the Slipe Roof and Housing Restoration Project. The majority of the community is without a roof or a house, and we are trying to assist people with additional building materials to start rebuilding their homes.

People have stopped working because they have no home to secure their assets or leave their children and elderly relatives. They need a few more pieces of building materials to add to what is left. Others are unable to work because they have no electricity, cell signal, or transportation, and the major towns and business places are closed.

100% of proceeds will go towards purchasing aluminum zinc, zinc nails, plywood, and other materials.
