Our good friend Nicci Spratley has been diagnosed with breast cancer. She will be out of work until December after having surgery; currently, she is undergoing radiation treatment. She has spent the last few months in and out of doctor's appointments. If you don't know Nicci, she is the first person to help anyone out. She has the biggest heart of anyone we know. She always puts others first and her teacher heart is having a hard time staying home because she is worried about her students. She misses her kids and her coworkers, and is out of sick days. Within the last few years, Nicci has changed school districts and has no additional sick days to rely upon. She is in need of assistance to cover her lost salary and medical expenses. She has two young boys and an incredibly supportive husband at home, but we want to find a way to support her as well.

At this time, this is the best way to help Nicci and her family. She is the last person to ask for help but always the first to seek ways to help others. If you can find a way to help this amazing teacher out so she can stay at home and let her body heal, we would appreciate it!
