Nicanor "Toto" Francisco Memorial Fund
Donation protected
On January 15, 2019 Nicanor's life challenges and struggles with addiction came to an end with his passing. We hope that in his final hours he had some sort of comfort knowing that his last breaths would be on the birthday of his only daughter.
We were hopeful but uncertain about his well being in Vancouver. Learning of his death after almost 5 years with no communication we are deeply saddened but finding some relief knowing he is now resting. Our time with him had many ups and downs and although our relationship wasn't ideal he had a positive impact on our lives and many others.
Nicanor was an excellent cook, aspiring musician, basketball player, and honor roll graduate with a certificate in aiding nurses, caring for Winnipeg's elderly. He was better known as, "Toto" among his peers. He was known for his long rock and roll inspired hair, his Iroc-Z Camaro, and his upbeat demeanor and his love for being amongst his close friends.
He leaves behind his children, Michael, Mitchell, Tracy, and Steven as well as his grandchildren. We wish to bring him home to Winnipeg, so he may be close to his family and friends.
Thank you for your time, caring words, condolences, and on going support as we navigate thru this trying time.
Your donations will help us bring our father home and aid with funeral arrangements. We appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts.
