Nic Vaillancourt and Laura Prowse

My name is Jackie and I’m raising money for an amazing coworker and her family during this difficult time.

Many of you know Nic Vaillancourt and Laura Prowse and that they are an amazing couple that would do anything to help others. Now it is our turn to help them.

Nic is an active member in the community volunteering his time refereeing at the smiths falls arena, taking the plunge in the polar bear plunge in support of the Special Olympics or swinging from trees with a chainsaw.

Nic was involved in a car accident last week on hwy 15 and county road 5. Nic broke his neck and was told he had spinal cord damage and was semi paralyzed. He has received one surgery and is out of ICU but has a long road to recovery ahead.

With Nic in the hospital, Laura has taken time off work to be there by his side. Laura is juggling being at the hospital, raising their daughter and keeping their house running smoothly.

This will be a long road for the whole family and financially it will be challenging.

Let’s show them the love they always show others so they can focus on being together and getting Nic home.

All funds raised will go directly to Nic and Laura to help with costs associated with Nic’s recovery and enable Laura to be by his side while being off work.
