NiaVana Studio was among the many area homes and businesses that were impacted by the sudden arrival and devastation of Hurricane Sally. Our hearts and prayers go out to all of those who have been impacted and we are so grateful for all of the love, support and unity we have already experienced as we begin the recovery and restoration process. Three large trees fell on our building, destroying the roof and causing structural damage, and bringing rain, dirt and debris inside. There will be extensive repairs needed to restore and recover the space to safe and working conditions. This year I have been so honored to gather, teach, practice and hold space for the healing of so many here. NiaVana is truly a family and this sacred space has been a safe haven and a beacon of hope and healing for countless lives during this tumultuous year. Sonya has been so devoted to helping everyone who walks through the doors, often sacrificing countless hours, finances and resources to do so. I now appeal to this amazing community to rally in support and help us come back better and stronger than before. When we heal, we heal our family, our community and our world.
