More information about The Neurofibromatosis Association of Ireland: At NF Ireland we aim to be a voice for NF patients and their families. Our primary aim is to inform sufferers and their families of the disorder, supporting them and letting them know they are not alone with the condition. We provide support and information on Neurofibromatosis to patients, families, and healthcare providers. Depending on the individual needs of our members we do our very best to provide them with the most up to date information on their condition.

Hello, I'm Niamh, I won't be surprised if when reading this it's the first time you've heard of this condition, as when my little cousin was diagnosed with NF1 it was the first time I had heard it too. I'd love for that to change, and try to make a few more people aware of this condition to encourage research and funding and ultimately create more resources for people with NF.

In April I will be running the Manchester marathon (or trying to) and thought it would be a great opportunity to try and raise some awareness and funds for this amazing organisation.

Any donation would be amazing, but I understand that's not always possible so even if you just take the time to read about NF that is also greatly appreciated.
