Hi Everyone - My first baby and Lillie’s older sister, Niamh has encountered some semi-urgent health matters. If you have a pet, you know that vet bills can be quite extensive.

Niamh is experiencing some dental issues, as well as also needing some tests on her lungs. Her dental issues have become a pressing problem as she has broken one of her teeth and it needs to be removed while under anesthesia. The dental work-up comes with a hefty charge (on my wallet and also my heart). Niamhy also has a chronic cough that has increased in frequency, it is upsetting for us all to see and cannot be comfortable for her. We want to find the best way to treat her, but that cannot be done without extensive testing. Sissy also already braved her pre-procedure bloodwork and we should have the results soon.

In the meantime, we are also in the process of getting multiple opinions and choosing a trusting, loving vet to handle the procedure.

It is hard for me to come here and ask for help, but I am also allowing myself to acknowledge: if you don’t ask, you don’t get help.
