Niah’s road to recovery.

My daughter Niah had a tragic accident at gymnastic this past Friday Dec 10th, 2021.

She fell off the balance beam in class.

Her armed was noticeably deformed, she was rushed to the hospital where we later found out it was a bad fracture and she needed to be medevaced to Kapiolani hospital for emergency surgery, they put pins in to rebuild her arm.

Her road to recovery will be at the least 6 months and therapy even longer when and after it heals…Im a single parent raising 2 children who are ambitious and I encouraged to pursue anything they want to in life and unfortunately and unannounced there will be times where pain is part of the process, nevertheless as a single parent you don't ever want to hear the words SEVERE, SERIOUS, and PAINFUL from a doctor describing your child's road to recovery. She is bed ridden and in a lot of pain. She will be needing around the clock care, so stepping away from work to care for her is my highest priority.
