Help Nia Get a Service Dog

Hi everyone, my name is Nia!

I am 21 years old and have been living with Complex PTSD and panic disorder for many years. Although my current service dog, Bug, has been a great help to me and has allowed me much greater independence than I had before, due to his size he has been unable to fully address my needs such as guidance and physical support while in a fugue state. Additionally, he will be retiring soon in consideration of upholding his physical health as he gets older.

Luckily, I have found an amazing service dog prospect that would be able to provide the variety of support I need to live a more normal life. Due to the high costs associated with this service dog, particularly with my needs for training in physical support and guiding, I am hoping to raise money to help cover some of the costs. The money raised will go towards getting the dog as well as the equipment necessary for her to work such as a y-front harness and a counterbalance handle. Any additional funds will go towards her training as well as additional equipment such as a custom vest for work.
