NI Hospice in memory of our amazing Mummy Celia x

Hi, my name is Jemma and we are raising money for Northern Ireland hospice.

Our mummy Celia was diagnosed with cervical cancer in December 2020. She had 6 weeks of intensive treatment and was finally given the all clear in March 2021.

Fast forward to August 2023 when we got the devasting news that her cancer had returned and was now in her groin and hip bone.

Mum had to fight tooth and nail to get strong enough to receive chemo therapy which was due to start on 5th December 2023. Unfortunately due to complications she was unable to her receive treatment.

The months that followed were very tough. Mum had multiple complications which led her to receiving care at the NI Hospice on Somerton Road.

The care our wee mummy received here was outstanding. They attended to her every need, medical and emotional. They cared for us, her family like we were there own. The whole staff team are amazing and deserve a medal for what they did for us.

At 11:25am on Friday 8th March our hearts were ripped in two. Our amazing mummy and partner lost her fight to cancer. She was a warrior! She fought cancer not once but twice. Although her body weakened, her spirit and heart were strong to the end.

We are only accepting family flowers at her funeral so if anyone would like to make a donation in her memory, please do so through this link.

All our love Brian, Jemma, Carly and Bradley ❤️
