On December 1, 2025, Sensei's wife, Kanako Suenaka, passed away peacefully at home. She leaves behind her son John, daughter Valerie, grandson Atao, and the whole Wadokai Ohana to mourn her passing.

Although nothing compares to the loss of this wonderful woman, the family also loses a major source of income during already struggling times. I don't want to overstep by going into too many details, but this will require a significant adjustment period for them all. To help ease the transition and buy them some time to prepare, I've started this GoFundMe. I would hope we could all chip in to show our Ohana love and help them through this especially difficult time.
