The Three Peaks
Donation protected
On 4 September we are going to try to climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon within 24 hours (yes we may have lost our minds)!
The funds raised from this epic challenge will be split between The Matthew Smith Fund and Haemophilia Scotland in memory of 2 very special people.
The Matthew Smith Fund is part of The Brain Tumour Charity and raises funds for high-grade brain tumour research. We lost our friend (my husband) Matt to a grade 4 Glioblastoma in October 2021 at the age of 33. Brain Tumours are the biggest cancer killer in under 40's and this incredible charity are working on better treatments and ultimately a cure!
We are also fundraising for Haemophilia Scotland in memory of Fraser's dad. Their Vision is of Scotland being a place where people with haemophilia, von Willebrands and other bleeding disorders, along with their families and carers, are fully supported to live healthy, happy lives according to their individual needs and circumstances. It is a vision of people successfully self-managing their conditions with high quality, trusted and proportionate medical support so they can maximise their life chances.
Jordan, Rich and I are not the most experienced climbers but we are hoping Fraser can motivate us...it's definitely going to be a challenge for all of us (mostly for Fraser having to look after us!)
We would really appreciate a donation if you can- it will help these two wonderful charities enormously!
Thanks,
Hayley, Fraser, Jordan and Rich
