Help with medical expenses and funeral costs

I'm supposed to write an explanation here to try to explain what is happening to Tim. This is difficult because the month of July has been a nightmare. Tim just turned 26 years old on July 31st, he has spent all of July in and out of the hospital. It started fierce and is just getting worse. Tim has been diagnosed with Endocarditis and a heart defect was discovered that he was born with. Endocarditis is an inflammation of the heart caused by bacteria. This bacteria and infection has spread, severely. He now has septic emboli in his blood reeking havoc on his body. A port has been installed and he has been on high dose antibiotics for weeks but his condition is worsening. This infection has spread to his brain, giving him stroke like symptoms. Its traveling through his body making it nearly impossible to walk. He now even has spots on his spleen. The pain in his chest and entire body is unimaginable and heart breaking to watch. This week, he was told he needs heart surgery because the infection weakened his valves so badly, they are now leaking.

We are scared. We need help. Through this entire thing Tim still tried working because he needs his insurance to stay active and he doesn't have short or long term disability. So while he is sick and cant work, he's not getting paid. This surgery is absolutely necessary in order for him to recover. Currently we are waiting for approval to transfer from Trinity to Mayo for the surgery.

Any money raised will help with medical bills and his mortgage. This surgery will put Tim out of work for a very long time. His loved ones cant keep everything afloat on their own, we desperately need help. DeAnna has been and will be with him every step of the way, she will be staying in a hotel across the street from the hospital and that expense will be a heavy burden as well. In all unfortunate circumstances, finances are the last thing that should be on anyone's mind but unfortunately they are very high on the list. Financial help is needed so Tim can get better and celebrate his 27th birthday healthy.
