Introduction

Hi, my name is Goncalo and im fundraising for Alzheimer's Society. I want to make a difference within the Alzheimer's Society. As a grandson, it hurts to see how Alzheimer's is quickly affecting my grandmother's ability to think, memorise, and carry out daily tasks. Watching her change over time is heartbreaking. Every time we go back to Portugal for our yearly trip, her ability to even recognise My Father, Mother, and me just gets worse as if she's slowly slipping away.

Alzheimer's Society is always doing vital work. They can provide many support services to families and individuals affected by dementia. All funding also goes into cutting-edge research into treatment, care, and fingers crossed, a future cure for Alzheimer's. Further more the Alzheimer's Society and this fundraiser will also help educate and reduce the stigma, and to help people understand what it's like to live with Alzheimer's.

Why a Skydive?

It's bold and yet terrifying; Im stepping out of my comfort zone for people who no longer have a choice. I hope my jump can inspire many people to do the same.
