ZWIFT EVEREST CHALLENGE! Due to the current situation encompassing the entire world and the strain it has put on our NHS, a several nutters have decided to take part in an Everest challenge in the virtual world of Zwift. We will be doing this to raise funds for the NHS, who put themselves at risk on a daily basis to ensure the safety of all individuals.  The route will be ascending Alpe Du Zwift a total of 8.5 (9) times for the total elevation of 8848 meters/29,000+ feet of climbing! This is the virtual equivalent of Alpe d'Huez, which is located in the French Alps. So far there are several individuals who will be completing the challenge in one "sitting", teams are also welcome if they wish to take turns doing an ascent or two or three etc.  All donations will be fully appreciated and help towards the COVID-19 situation.  DONATIONS WILL BE GOING TOWARDS VELINDRE CANCER CNTRE AND THE LOCAL HEALTH BOARD :) DATE 30TH MAY 2020.
