So the board is no longer up for grabs! but will keep this page up until the end of lock down so we can keep raising funds for the nhs! Thank you everyone for all your support!
I’m sure you are all aware of how much pressure, strain and duress the NHS and its whole workforce is under. It is our duty to help and support those on the front line however we can. This cause is very close to our family as our sister is one of those on the front line, putting herself in harms ways, working endless hours on intensive care wards. For us we couldn’t be more proud of her.
In somewhat of a feeble attempt to step up to the mark our sister has created, we are giving away a 23.75K Gold surfboard. We hope to raise funds to support her and her colleagues of the NHS, by donating to supported charities, buying equipment and helping our nurses.
Big thank you to redbull uk for supporting our cause by giving my sister and her whole team at papworth 'the wiiings they deserve' and sending them some redbull! They have already committed to sending 100,000 cans of red bull directly to the NHS!
This surfboard is made as a fully functional surf-able surfboard. However due to it being the first one, it has never been tested for long term wear and tear, so we honestly have no idea what would happen and how it would surf etc. (Personally I would keep it on the wall). If you win, please have in mind this surfboard has cost us weeks of time, sleepless nights and a shed load of money. So we would love for you to show as much care and passion as we did making it.
We will be sharing were the money goes on our social media!
