Show your support for the Springfield BLM murals!
Any time a BLM mural in Springfield is defaced, we will put up another Black Lives Matter mural in Springfield.
On September 12th, a Black Lives Matter mural was painted by over 100 community members on Court Street in Springfield MA. Since that time, the mural has been repeatedly defaced. In the absence of effective steps taken by the City to prevent continued vandalism of the mural, the Springfield Black Lives Matter Mural Community Coalition has made a pledge to put up another BLM mural every time any of the BLM murals are vandalized.
The Coalition is organizing a second BLM mural which will be painted on 232 Worthington Street on Saturday, October 10th starting at 9AM.
Please make a donation to help cover the cost of paint and materials for this mural, and any other murals we need to do in the future. Any unused funds will go to gun violence prevention programs in Springfield.
