Hello, my name is Aileen and I have created this GoFundMe for Cooper, my family’s sweet dog. Cooper has lived with us for the last eight years of his life and we’re hoping for many more. Around August of this year we noticed an awful oder coming from Cooper’s mouth. We assumed it was because we had stopped feeding him Greenies, but after some further inspection, we found that was not the case. Instead, we found a tumor like bump in his mouth and immediately made an appointment at his vet clinic. From there, they referred us to a surgical vet office in Cumming, GA, to make sure it wasn’t cancerous. This past Tuesday, October 14, was that appointment and unfortunately the tumor is cancerous. As of right now, the cancer has not spread anywhere else, but to prevent this from happening surgery needs to be done as soon as possible. We were quoted around $5,500 for this procedure. My family and I have some money saved, but not enough. Cooper is a fluffy friend and gives nothing but love to everyone. He is awkward and silly, but that’s what makes him, him. My family and I all feel awful for failing Cooper. Simply just spreading this post is more than enough. Thank y’all for reading.
