A great tragedy hit my family this weekend. I was coming back home from school for the weekend to learn that my father has gone missing since the Thursday of 2/26/15. Worried, I immediately issued a police report in search of my father. There was no news of his whereabouts until the night of 2/28/15. I approached his car and opened the door to see my dad sleeping. As soon as I touched his hand, I realized he was stone cold and had passed away. I immediately called 911 but it was already too late for them to do anything. What I regret most is that I could have been a better son. His struggles for the past 20 years of sustaining me and my family and putting me through college made me realize how important I was to him. I never got a chance to say that I love him prior to this event, and I know screaming those three words at him while his lifeless body laid in my arms was not going to bring him back. I am a full time student at UCSB, my sister is a junior at high school, and my mom is a full time house wife. At the least, I want my family to send off my dad with a proper funeral and funerals aren't cheap, and that's why I need your help. Please help me and my family.
