Hi, my name is Sophie.  I'm 10 years old and I'm from Pleasant Hill, California.

This November, I will be traveling to Hollywood to pursue my dream of becoming an actor.  I will be auditioning in front of many agents for commercials, television and movies.  The 4-day workshops and auditions are called Hollywood Showcase.  

I have been training for over a year to attend this event and am raising money to help offset the cost.  This really means so much to me because I've wanted to become an actor for so long, and this is a big chance for me to make my big break.
