Micah and Family

I am preparing this fundraiser for a family member who needs some HELP! On December 19 - while preparing for family visit and Holiday preparations, Micah was finishing some construction at their home. Suddenly he came running upstairs in a rush and calling for his wife, Cassie!! Micah had been using an electric saw (unsure exactly what kind) but had cut into his hand!! Across the palm of his right hand from thumb to little finger. Cassie knew to get him help quickly and drove him to local hospital, where they couldn’t stop the bleeding!! He was then moved to another hospital and finally got treatment at the third place they were transferred to. A Hand specialist was available (Praise God) and Micah had a 10 hr surgery on his Hand that evening. Since it was a difficult surgery, the surgeon was trying to save the use of his fingers - but the nerves, muscles, tendons etc were all severed.

Micah’s is only 36 years old. Has a beautiful family of 3 children, and is moving forward with his family to building a life in North Carolina. They have purchased a home with a possible Air BNB to rent out, they have animals and gardens as they are trying to build a Homestead, they home school the children and are teaching them the Christian way of life!! Micah a is a musician, plays most instruments, he is a great chef, and father/husband.

BothCassie and Micah are involved and work at their church and Cassie is an RN and working outside the home in that field.

At this time, Micah is having Physical therapy - and slowly trying to waken the nerves, etc. for full use of his hand. However, they are facing huge medical bills. $140,000 currently. This may take years for his hand to be right again and we are hoping to help them out - so they can get these expenses behind them.

If you could help, it would be a blessing to them I know - and we can all pray and support this beautiful family. It takes a village and we can be that village for them. Please help in some small way if you can.
