Elias Tejeda had worked at Pitzer's dining hall for 15 years. On Tuesday, September 29, 2015, Elias passed away suddenly. He was not only a caring, dedicated, hard worker, Elias was also a strong, supportive parental figure for many Latinx Student Union members.

Elías is survived by his wife, Consuelo Tejeda--who is also a Pitzer dining services staff member-- his four adult children, Edith Yadira, Janet, Dennis and Christian, and his two grandchildren, Venizio and Isaiah.

Latinx Student Union has set up this Go Fund Me account in hopes of giving back to a beloved member of our community. The monetary support will contribute to the funeral costs, easing the financial strain and allowing Elias family to grieve more peacefully. Your contributions are greatly appreciated.
