These past few weeks, after many appointments and lab tests, Cara and Garrett have learned that Cara has Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, a type of breast cancer. No one can ever be prepared to hear those words and have their world rocked in such a profound way. In spite of that, they have worked to assemble a top notch, well respected medical team to help navigate them through this life-changing diagnosis.
