Otis is loving life and still giving out free kisses at work! While his cancer has come back, we are focusing on making sure Otis is as comfortable as possible and gets all the treats he wants! Your continued support helps with the ASTONISHING bills that we face as well as his specialty food. Thank you so much, words cannot express the love we have been shown throughout all of this. Otis has had his surgery and while he is doing great, they did not remove all of the cancer. Due to this, we have started radiation treatments. We are so grateful for the continued support throughout the ups and downs of this battle! We love you!

Hello there! For those of you who have never met him…this is Otis! And to those of you who have grown to love Otis and who see him on a day to day basis…Otis says, “Hi!” As most of my close circle of incredible people already know, we learned that Otis has Oral Cancer.

While this was EXTREMELY sudden, we have already been given options on what the next and best steps are for Otis. After thoughtful consideration and working with an amazing team of oncologists and surgeons, we have decided to move forward with a surgical procedure that will remove the infected parts of his lower jaw.

This sounds so scary, and it is, but the specialists ensure us that Otis would feel so much better and wouldn’t even miss that part of his jaw. This surgery is his absolute BEST shot at living another 5 years (since he’s in great health at the ripe age of 12/93) and we know it is what's best for Otis. This surgery also has amazing results with removing all of the cancer!

Otis’ life is so full of love, whether it be from his co-workers at The Learned Lemur & Conspiracy Theory Tattoo where he currently holds “Employee of the Month,” or from his loving grandmother who spoils the shit out of him…all he knows is love. This dog is so beyond special and has saved my life (literally) on several occasions. Otis was a huge reason of why I chose to get treatment and have now been strongly sober since 2020.

We all know how pricey these things can be and it seems criminal at times, but I have always told myself that I would do absolutely anything if it meant my best friend being happy and healthy. So, here we are. We are asking our incredible community of friends and family for any amount of donation to help cover the extensive surgery and aftercare.

A huge shoutout to The Learned Lemur, Conspiracy Theory Tattoo, Conspiracy Circus, and DNVR for their continued love, support, charity events towards Otis, and understanding through this all. We love you so much and can’t thank you enough for everything you’ve already done.
