My name is Jason McQuain, and I’m reaching out after a devastating fire tore through my apartment building. Not only have I been displaced with nowhere to stay, but I’ve also lost essential items—including my lighting equipment and hard drives that I rely on for my photography work.

The building suffered extensive water damage from the firefighters’ efforts, and though I was able to go back briefly to grab valuables and my medication, most of my professional gear and personal belongings are ruined or inaccessible.
