Help the Nguyen Family rebuild from Lahaina Fire

Hi everyone, This is Marian, Kim, and Mikey Nguyen. As many have now seen on the news, our hometown of Lahaina, Maui has been absolutely devastated by the wildfires worsened by the winds from Hurricane Dora.

We are so grateful that our family was able to evacuate in time, but our parents lost everything including their homes, cars, and all personal belongings. As we start to pick up the pieces, we are humbly asking our community for support in rebuilding their lives.

Our parents have been proud members of the Lahaina community for over 35 years. Many Lahaina locals may recognize our family from our previous Bale restaurants in Lahaina and Kihei, and now our mom’s food truck, Da Best Pho, in Honokowai. As a taxi driver, our dad has served locals and tourists alike by making everyone feel at home in Lahaina. Asking for our community’s help on this scale is something we never could have imagined doing, but in this extremely difficult time we did not feel like we had much of a choice. Anything helps, and we appreciate any help possible.
