For those in our community, we know the Steve and Debbie Garrett family are always willing to help others in need without hesitation. They are what we call in our area "good people." They have faced their losses with self-sufficiency and dignity. I am asking the community I have always loved to help them at this time as their daughter, Rachel, faces a battle with breast cancer. Rachel, who, like her mom and dad, would do all she could to help others. She is facing 6 months of chemotherapy and radiation minimum. Rachel has a daughter in college playing basketball, and there will be times where working will be tough, although her employer stands by her as she receives treatment. I am asking the community to lend her a helping hand as we plan other fundraising efforts. Anything is appreciated, and please know you have all my love for helping a very special friend. She will not be alone.
