Hello we are Tyler and Chelsea Kipper. Our third son, Micah is going to require a "DOC band" for his head. Our son fits into the 10% category with moderate to severe Plagiocephaly requiring treatment. This has caused him to have asymetrical facial features(that will get worse if not treated), misaligned ears, and flatening of the back and top of his head. Micah will have to wear the DOC band 23 hours a day for 4-6 months.
Within the last year, we have decided as a family that it would be best to have Chelsea stay home for mulitple reasons, including raising our children in a family enviroment. Because of this decision, it has put a strain on our budget, but has been the best decision we could have made. However, due to our strict budget, and the fact that insurance does not cover the DOC band and neccesary appointments, we are hoping for some finanicial assistance. Having said that, we are willing to go into debt to purcahse the DOC band, but we don't qualify for the full amount required for the treatment.
It would mean the world to us if you could finanically contribute to Micah's DOC band. All the money raised will go towards his band and the neccasary appointments.
