Thank you all for viewing our GoFundMe! Our story is simple: I was recently fired from my job at Bar{n} Booze and Bites, where I’ve worked for over a year. I notified my manager around 7 a.m. the day after Thanksgiving that something happened and my family and I would be driving back from Mississippi later than expected, and I might not make it to my shift. The next day, the owner claimed 'no call no show' and I was fired without warning, in the dead of winter, just before Christmas.

I have not yet found another job and I’m asking for help to raise funds for rent, car note, and electricity, so that we will not face freezing temperatures in our home, eviction, or repossession. I’m a single mom, and my kid’s father is with our God in heaven. Thank you all for your support this Christmas season.
