Community Accessible Defibrillator

Hello, I am Hayley from All Mine Cakes by the Lake in the beautiful hamlet of Maythorne just outside Southwell, Nottinghamshire. We are a multi-award winning gluten free tearoom who are current East Midlands Cafe of the Year 2020-21 and we are fundraising for a community accessible defibrillator following a recent medical emergency at the tearoom when one of our customer suddenly became unwell and the hamlet being a 5 minute drive away from the nearest public access defibrillator. Thankfully everyone is safe and well however highlighted the rural location of Maythorne, its community and the number of visitors who visit us plus who access the Southwell Trail which is also Cycling Network Route 645. If we are successful reaching our fund raising target we will to be donating the remaining funds to Southwell Community First Responders to support with the ongoing running costs of existing defibrillators around Southwell.
