Help get us back on the road

My name is Jessica and my only option is to ask for help on large scale. This is not easy for me to do, but, within 48 hours, my car and my oldest's car broke down. We have a 2000 Honda Accord and a 2007 Chevy Malibu. Since August, we have spent over $5000 on car repairs. We have wiped out our savings accounts and maxed out the credit card to keep the vehicles running. I am a single mom to two awesome and hard-working kids. I currently work 4 jobs, go to school, and run my kids around. My oldest works, carries a class load that includes mulitple AP classes, and is active in theater and math team. My youngest wants a job to help out, but is not yet old enough. He does what he can to help, is a great student, and loves playing lacrosse.
The repairs will cost around $2500. My oldest's car (Honda Accord) needs the brake lines replaced (the brakes went out as I was driving), other brake system work, and sensors replaced. My car (Malibu) needs a new water pump, the power steering is leaking, needs new belts, and a mouse nest was found in the engine with lots of wires needing to be replaced because they have been chewed.
We have looked into trying to get "newer to us cars." With car prices through the roof, a car payment and higher insurance premiums are not possible for us to manage. I have tried to figure out a way to do this without asking for help, but it is not possible.
So... I will say, "Thank you, in advance, for any help you can give us. You truly do not know just how much it means to us."
