Hi everyone, our names are Bryce Montgomery and Jake Smith. We are starting this fundraiser for our fellow brother Austin Draper. Austin is a well known and loved brother in the Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity. With his place in the fraternity as the former head of Philanthropy, he is known to coordinate events to raise money for charities and organizations in need, such as the Children's Miracle Network. He is also an aspiring medical student, currently studying for his MCAT while working for Orlando Health. Recently, he's been hospitalized for a week due to complications with his heart revealing multiple heart conditions. He has had ongoing treatments for his two known heart conditions, which include a condition called Wolff Parkinson White Syndrome, which prevents his heart from beating at a normal rate. He also has a bicuspid aortic valve, which prevents his heart from effectively moving blood out of the heart. With these new conditions found at this recent stay, including a hole in his heart which allows blood to flow the wrong way, and having a mini-stroke of his eye, and with his father's recent requirements of hip surgery, his family is hoping to reach out to friends, family, and the community, in hopes of support in getting Austin and his family back to good health. Any kind of support would be well appreciated.
