My Aunt Laura is one of the most important people in my life. She has always been there for me—supporting me, guiding me, and showing me unconditional love. Now, she is facing the toughest battle of her life. She was recently diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, an aggressive and fast-spreading form of breast cancer. Her cancer is HER2-negative and has already progressed to stage 3, spreading to her right lymph nodes. She now faces a long and grueling fight, beginning with at least six months of chemotherapy before undergoing a double mastectomy.

While we were able to secure medical insurance for her starting April 1st, the financial burden remains overwhelming. Her insurance costs $1,000 per month with a high deductible, and the upcoming procedures alone are $10,000—rising to $60,000 if chemo begins as planned. The oncology office is working to find financial assistance, so we are not seeking donations to cover all of these medical expenses. However, the out-of-pocket costs for travel and lodging are significant, as her treatments are two hours away. On top of that, extreme fatigue has already forced her to step away from work and many of her daily activities.

Our family is doing everything we can to support her, but we can’t do this alone. We are reaching out for help to ease the financial strain so she can focus entirely on what matters most—fighting this battle and healing. Any donation, no matter the size, would mean the world to us and ensure she gets the care she needs.
