When we found out Jill had been surprised and shocked by the news of a brain tumor our heart broke. How could I give back to a person who saved Elizabeth’s life. My name is Christie Hogan and Jill saved our family 5 years ago. We will forever be in debt to her. We had a life changing situation where my daughter’s mental health was affected. We found Jill and she helped my daughter find the will to live a happy life. She was there for her and us unconditionally as she created a bond between her, Noah and my daughter. Her love from horseback riding comes straight from Jill’s heart. She gave everything, and with her hard work, dedication and passion changed our life. My daughter has that same passion and admires Jill to no end.
Matt and I talked about what we could do. We decided that the most impactful thing we could do is to contribute financially and invite others to join us. We all know the struggle that people who work for themselves may experience when they can't work. So, we've set up this GoFundMe account for anyone else who wants to contribute.
The funds would be earmarked for healthcare expenses not paid for by insurance, and household, daily living expenses that will need covering. I know once we get up and running, Jill's family will be happy to walk anyone through where the funds are going. In fact, they will update us on her CaringBridge site.
