Please support us in raising money for our sister, who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. This is a devastating diagnosis overall, and especially for Melonie's two young children. We are hoping to lessen the burden of rising medical bills and to help support this family of four during and after treatment. Anything at all helps.

Melonie was diagnosed with breast cancer, and has to have a double mastectomy and 12 lymph nodes removed. Following that Melonie had her first round of chemo. This was very difficult for Melonie and she was often unable to move or get out of bed. Melonie started her second round of chemo, and then had a rare allergic reaction to the chemo and ended up with blisters and rashes throughout her entire body. As if the discomfort from the allergic reaction was not enough Melonie ended up admitted to the hospital when she currently still is in the Critical Cancer Unit at MMC. Melonie has a blood infection of which they are working to find out what bacteria is in her blood. Melonie also has neuropathy in her legs and feet that make her unable to walk. Melonie is in for a very long road and recovery and could really use any help to be able to continue to pay her bills and survive through this horrific situation.
